| Guest | Yes, I do indeed miss it. Thing is, after I posted the pics at 440magnum.net, ****LOADS of people started emailing me, asking me if it was for sale. People from Europe even. One guy in particular, lived in Switzerland, said he had a HEMI 69 Coronet R/T and a '70 Cuda. He really wanted it; asked me if I could hold it while he arranged to come over here and look at it. I ended up deciding to sell when a guy in Missouri offered me more than I paid for it, sight unseen. Sure enough, he sent me the money, and had a car hauler pick it up..he never even heard it run! Also, the car wasn't original. It originally had a 383 and 4 speed, was a yucky yellow color with a black stripe, had a bench seat, and the side scoops were an add-on. The motor/trans in it came out of a '72 Imperial. It ran really well, would hand the L it's big red ***, but it sure wasn't numbers matching. Someday I'd like to get a 68-72 Dart, and build a nice 318 or 360 for it. ------------------ NLOC #736, '01 red L, build #2075, built on 3/21/01, stock except for K&N filter and Magnaflow muffler |
