| Guest | GRRRRRRRRRR. ****ing pisses me off. I'm eating dinner, go out to my car, see my change is missing, and ALL MY ****ING CD's are gone. So we drive around looking for something, ANYTHING, but nothing happens. Find some cops, ask em' to keep their eye open, still nothing. Hopefully they will find them, if they do before I do, that guy will be considered lucky. But just a question, who the **** would steal 50 punk rock CD's?!?! God damnit, time to start saving to buy them all again. |

| Guest | Sorry for the loss. Do you own a CD burner? If you do make copies of your discs(after you replace them) and only carry the burned copies w/ you. If you don't I wouldn't carry so many discs. I had a few CDs stolen, at least I only had a 6 disc magizen(sp) in the car at the time. Check with the pawn shops someone probably needed drug money. Hopefully you can find your book with all the discs still in it. ------------------ I really hate riceboys O.E.M. isn't fast enough Mods: 40 series Flowmasters w/ rear exit K&N Panel w/ custom cold air Flexlite 210 electric fans Timing @ 12* Shawn Schafer Minot, ND |

| Guest | This would be a good time to get a cd-burner. Make copies of all your cds, and carry the copies with you. Then, you lose only $50 of cds, instead of $500. Although, this practice is closer and closer to being illegal thanks to the powers that be, do it while you can ![]() |

| Guest | Yep, burning disks for your car is the way to go. Another reason I like to do that is because I can keep the originals in a changer in the home theater rack. That way they never get handled (execpt when pulling one to make a copy), and hence they don't get scratched. |

| Guest | Here's a tip for anyone who keeps a lot of cds or random stuff in your car. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE RENTERS / HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE!!!!!!!!! I did, and last time they broke into my old truck and stole a bunch of cds, my insurance company paid me for each and every one of those cds. I had them in a wallet, without the liner notes, so i just turned in the liner notes as proof of purchase. Bada bing bada boom, $15 per stolen cd. lets seeeeeee, 100 cds got stolen, with a 250 deductible that gives me $1250. Renter's insurance had only cost me $100 a year. Talk about a great deal... Anyways, your renters/homeowners insurance should cover anything that isn't actually part of your truck. I.e. the stuff that slides around while you are driving way way too fast. |
