| Guest | This is exciting news around here. A coworker went down to D.C. back in June to take the Jeopardy test. He passed, and was placed into the contestant pool. Last night they called him to appear on the show, on Nov 6th and 7th. I don't watch much of the show, but it's unusual how it works. He has to pay out of pocket to fly himself and up to 6 guests out to L.A. They do 5 games a day on Tuesday and Wednesday. So, if he wins the first game on Tuesday, he goes into the back, changes clothes, and comes back in 10 minutes to start the 2nd game, and so on for all 5. His goal is just to get _one_ question correct, and he'll be happy. ![]() It's just cool knowing someone on the show. A fellow in our church moved in last year, and was on the show about 2 years ago. He was an aerospace engineer, didn't win much, but got a 29" TV as a consolation prize. |

| Guest | I think it's easier to get on those shows than most people think. When I was living in Florida, a guy was selling his Mustang. I asked the usuals, like "what is your reason". He said they won it on a game show and they also had a mini van and jet skis, all from different shows! Some people live for that stuff. ------------------ 2000 Silver L- SS Killer 13.77@100.58mph - 100% STOCK 1999 Civic Ex- Ego Killer "how much can you really know about yourself if you've never been in a fight?"
