 CAR AND DRIVER SAYS IT'S OVER
Of course, we have no way of knowing how accurate their information is, but the latest Car And Driver magazine says that there will be no Lightnings built on the current (2004) F-150 chassis. They cited the hight cost of development as the primary reason, plus changing market conditions. I believe they even said that SVT was on hiatus, which is not a good sign (speaking from memory -- don't have a copy of the magazine with me at the moment). |
