| HAHAHA! I too was pulled over for the same exact reason in much the same way. I explained to the officer that I had a performance valve body in the transmission to reduce belt slipage and heat in the transmission and as a result it "slams" into the next gear instead of "slips". I went on to say that this plus the cool streets and tires contributed to the "chirp" he heard as I was accelorating into traffic... he took my information and and came back w/o a ticket or warning but he asked, "So is this a stick shift?" I just said no and we departed ways... He really looked like he was understanding what I was saying up to that point.
