| i know you're supposed to put 500 easy miles on gears and then change the gear oil and its good to go. ive toasted an entire rear end due to not breaking it in right... the pinion bearing failed and destroyed my ring and gear, carrier and also twisted the splines on both axle shafts. went from being a 400 dollar regear to well over a grand the second time around. *shrugs* |
