Seeing that truck and hearing about the owner's attitude reminds me of a guy that used to come to our events in Tulsa. First he showed up with a gen 1 that had a "tunnel port NASCAR 427" in it. We all rolled our eyes and watched him click off 15 second pass after painful 15 second pass with what he claimed was over 700 hp. Then he showed up with a white gen 2 with every possible bolt on and proceeded to nearly bounce it off the wall on 3 straigh passes. "If it'd hook it'd run 10's, I swear" was his claim at a time when 11's were rare. |
