Well, what can I say ? I'm sittin' in Port Orchard at a Days Inn with blue sky above (around 8 PM) and now there's light clouds above (check post time stamp). Gots two, count'em two, SRTs in the parking lot that I'm sure are goin' racing in the morn, a Charger and a R/T (station wagon). Last Accuweather forecast shows cloudy until 4 PM then rain for an hour
and back to cloudy at 5 PM. Be headed out to the track in the morn to get in line and cross my fingers for the day. Gonna run the CCCA deal this year as much as possible.
Over here 'cause I didn't wanna have'ta get up at 4:30 in the morn to get woke up and down to Bremerton around 8ish. Now I can get up around 6ish or 7ish and it's 4.5 miles to the dragstrip ! Yeah, that's what I like ! If it gets rained out then I had a decent room with a king bed and jacuzzi for the night !
Called Steve around 8:30 PM and he said he'd drag his butt outa bed early to have a look see and give me a hollar maybe to check the weather here. I have a very sophisticated weather station, if'n the deck lid on the truck is wet, it's raining. If my hat blows off it's windy. If'n I slip and fall on my butt, it's snowin/icey. If'n I breathe on the gas pedal and it doesn't spin like crazy it just may be dry !
Weather at midnight is dry...an I'm a gonna WIN ! I'm just glad I don't have'ta beat you guys to do it
