When I get a chance to watch a Gen2 at the track, (not in my mirror. LOL! J/K
) I notice the fast ones ALWAYS squeeze the throttle off the line. Theres that word again, SQUEEZE. The ones that jump on the gas just lite the tires up. Youll have to get the feel of it, but, thats the trick to a good ET in a Gen2. There is sooooo much low end torque, the tires are really pushed to their limit finding traction. Go out and find an industrial area around your place and after 5:00pm when everyone goes home, practice some 0-50mph launches. You really dont even have to go that fast. 30mph would do it. Get the feel of squeezing the gas and how the truck reacts. Stall from just above idle up to about 1300rpm, somewhere in there. Good luck.
