Hybrid motor crap sounds like a lousy excuse to me. Also, based on the MPEG I agree with 5.4 that it sounds more like valve train. Don't think I'd pay anything untilit's resolved, and I think it's up to them to resolve the problem at this point. BTW, if you end up writing off the project I know where you can find a really nice Avalon, still under warranty.
