There are no shops in N. Texas that have a better rep with modular engines than Lone Star.
That said, I've had 3 engines in my Cobra and the stock engine lasted longest.
The only thing I've seen out of Competition Machine were poor balance jobs and prep that was not up to high school shop standards. If they can't do a Windsor properly, imagine what they would do to a modular.
