This is a warning !!!the damm auto lock don't work properly on our gen 1 L's . Ever stay up late at night and see the infomercials, well you know the one about the brake lock device that doesn't allow you to depress the brake to put it in gear?? Let me tell you guys it is BUNK !!!! And they package it in this hard plastic wrapping that you need C4 to get it out. I tried it on my truck and no matter how hard I pull back on the handle to lock it in the upper position I can press hard enough down on the brake pedal to put it in gear. $59.95 yea right soo's I goo's to Pep Boys for me money back. Now I am argueing with the guy that it don't work right. He said it does lock and I say but I still can put it in gear. Like somebody won't steal you truck with no brakes. I told the guy, ever hear of the emergancy brake. I bought it to lock the gear shifter out. I started to get loud in the store so he credited my wife's credit card, it was a X-Mas gift from her. You should have seen the mangled plastic package I gave back to him, I hacked it up with a butcher knife to get it open and it still had some wrapping paper stuck to it
I did see these neat pads for the shoulder strap that says ford racing, I think I will buy 2 for my truck. anyways save your money and don't buy that bogus locking device!!!!!
