I run 26" ET Streets @ the track and have drop shackles. This combo puts the rear down about 2". On the day I took out the motor it was very cold (in the 40s) and ran the L with only a few gallons of gas. When I launched the L it took off and @ the top of first it shut down and then took off. I believe this is when it took out the motor. You see the L ran very lean and took out the head gasket and did some internal damage.
I know this is last min. but I will be going to the track today Friday 12/7/01 if anyone wants to meet up.
