Depending on how much cash you got you can do this with ease.
I've told black light about the mods to do but he doesn't listen to me that well.
In this order do them and be done with it.
CHIP & Filter kit
6lb lower pulley
electric fan kit
shift kit
throttle body
With these mods you should run mid 12's with no problem. There's allot more you can do, but I would get these first and maybe even just the top four and forget about the throttle body for awhile. The shift kit will help you tranny survive that L's abuse that it puts out and the electric fan kit won't stree the motor out anymore but it will free up some HP and TRQ.
Now who you get the mods from is up to you. Out of the three tuners I use mostly all PSP stuff and some JL stuff, but JDM is a good guy to. He can make a truck fly just as fast, but some people just feel is service is lacking. Either way all the chips, pulleys, filters, and other mods will be about the same in performance. The shift kit that you want is the PSP kit. Its designed by the guy that helped ford design these trannys for our trucks. The 6 pound lower pulley is going to be a JL thing that you can only get from him. I think JDM and PSP can make them but I know JL is going to produce them. The throttle bodies you can get threw anybody too! JDM does have the cooler Babolt throttle bodies, but there more $$$. The electric fans are a easy mod that you can get from anybody now.
