Sounds like the electronic shift improver that B&M makes.I had one and took it out because the truck shifted like stock at wide open throttle but was firmed up at part throttle.I wouldn't recomend the electronic gizmo and others will probably chime in.I went with the B&M shift improver valve body kit for $29.95.One tip though,unless you like hard shifts,go with the RV/tow setting.With a loose convertor the shifts would soften up a little but with the stock convertor for normal driving I think the RV/tow setup would be best.I have no complaints with mine so far.
