That was a very imformative post. Maybe sometime in the future I will tackle this project. This tranny cooler should help us Florida guys out. We need all the cooling ability possible down here. Stop and go traffic during the summer raises my tranny temps to around 180 degrees, sometimes more. I change my tranny fluid once a year, no matter what mileage because of the heat and humidity. I'll usually get around to it during late fall after it has cooled off some. It might seem like overkill but heat is the number one killer of transmissions.
