id have to agree with the handling. my gen1 is pretty solid, alot more than i thought it would be for being nearly 15 yrs old. my front feels a little soft for me, even though it has new factory shocks at all 4 corners. id like to put a drop setup on it and make it a little stiffer up front, but time will tell. id rather put more power into it first. it definitely handles better than my 98 SS/T that i had before my gen2. the gen2 rode like a sports car with its suspension kit on it.

im going to go over my brakes completely. the fronts need to be replaced as the pads are low, and i noticed some dampness at the rear drums when i had it on a lift last week, so it looks like some wheel cylinders are in order. at that point, might as well change out the rubber lines for some SS, and make it a complete makeover of the brake system.
