Wing Vent Handle Restoration

I know I saw a post on how to restore the wing vent handle back to a nice black. For the life of me I can't find the thread via search so I figured I'd ask again. Anyone know whats best to use and how its to be applied?
 
pull them off and throw them in the trash and install these, 100% perfect match to the ones i took off the truck.

but to answer your question if you remove them and lightly heat them w/ a heat gun they will turn black again, BUT they will likely crack if you get them too hot since it will fatigue them.

plastic paint in black with the plastic prep. I did mine with this stuff 2 yrs ago and they are still looking like new and my truck is a dd in so Texas. Cleaned um up real good let um dry out a good while spray um with the prep and then black painted um then I shot um with clear afterwards.
 
I glass bead blasted mine ...



If you don't have access to a blast cabinet (like me) but you do have access to a compressor (like me) a small investment will allow you to rejuvenate all of the your interior and a whole bunch of your exterior plastic and rubber parts and pieces.
